Sean "Diggity" O'Brien

Short Bio: I'm a web developer and a software junkie with a background in creative writing and art. I strive to enrich my understanding of the world while participating actively in it. I launched my first website in 1997 and have been working with computers ever since. In college, I created the comic strip "DiGG" and became a free software advocate and GNU/Linux user. I wear many hats, but most people know me as the friendly neighborhood geek.

I hold an M.A.Ed. in Educational Technology and a B.A. in Interactive Digital Media from the University of Connecticut. I currently reside in New Haven, Connecticut.

Most Importantly: I'm always learning > teaching > learning > teaching > learning...

This is a temporary page. I'm currently moving all my projects to DreamHost. In the process, I'm redesigning my portfolio. I'm also working on a bunch of other things, which include:

A new blog for myself that mimics a facebook profile; I'm calling it "foojbook"
Two web projects for the Yale Medical School, including a small social networking site
Two web projects for a high school teacher, including an educational wiki
Applications to PhD programs in New England and NYC
Hopefully - a new webcomic

...this is on top of my work for the University of Connecticut. I'll soon be updating my résumé accordingly.
